Blog Entry: ' Light makeup for ladies...... read the service manual of the Hyatt. 'Fine, I hardly wear any make up' was my reaction. But little did i know that ' Light make up' included wearing a maroon color lipstick. I never liked wearing lipstick because i find it messy and often end of eating it.Training started and I was always sent away to freshen up because of my lipstick !..I would wear in the morning , but  would end up eating before briefing..I got embarrassed in front of my friends and angry with my managers.. Everyday i would go to rest room cursing my manager, ' how would I look like a glam doll when I am working 17 hrs a day' Stupids, I dont sit in the office and meet guests like them..I work... weeks passed and it was really irritating me.. I tried all brands of lipstick that read ' Long lasting or 9-5, only to be sent away the next day...finally it was enough.. I had enough... I started carrying lipstick in my pant pocket and the fear of lipstick not being there on my lips was so strong that I would check and paint myself every time I went for loo...Looking back I find my anger and my efforts funny and appreciate the way in which Hyatt maintained her grooming standards..Yes, but I still don't wear lipsticks...That was three years ago. Tomorrow I have to take a class on grooming standard for the ladies and I wonder is there is another Sonam among the ladies in the hotel....
