I read that Carrom is very popular in South Asia including Bhutan.  I never heard of Carrom before.  Is it a game or a sport?  What equipment does it require?

Its an interesting board game just like pool/snooker but with only four holes. A board and some round pieces called Gotis are all that's needed. Upto 4 people can play at a time. I have grown up playing it, but lately, people have taken to playing pool/snooker.
