Exercise and Fitness | Not getting enough exercise is a major cause of cardiovascular disease, and many of us are not physically active enough to gain any health benefits. Swimming, cycling, jogging, trekking, aerobic dancing, walking or many other activities can help your heart. According to doctors of sports medicine, all healthy adults ages 18-65 should be getting at least 30 minutes of moderate intense activity five days of the week. Do you get enough exercise? I know I don’t! So, my wife and I plan to start exercising more. We are going to try to walk or bicycle around the neighborhood at least 4 times a week or more. That’s our plan, anyway! |
