I just reinstalled my windows XP on dell latitude d610 laptop. My laptop works fine except for the usb. Do you think it’s got to do with driver problem? I’m currently looking to find a usb driver for it.

If it happens to all the USB drives or devices, then there's a driver problem. If you haven't installed your chipset drivers, you will have to install it. It might be on the dvd/cd that came with your laptop.

Normally, in Windows XP you don't need USB drivers.
